Craft Swap now a regular event!

Taking place every second Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM

This past Saturday local artist Alex organised her first Craft Swap here at the ABD Centre. This was alongside the Bacup Zine workshop and took place almost all day.

A lot of people turned up, mainly for the swap event, and everyone donated various items to the "pool". Some of the donations included: a bag full of macrame supplies including an instruction book, pink with yellow and white fluffy fabric, a bag with dozens of stamps, bags full of fabrics, paper crafting items, knitting needles, lots of balls of yarn, some lovely Christmas ornaments. The list is really endless as you can see in the photos at the bottom of this article.

Because this was so popular, Alex has decided to now run this every month, on the second Saturday of every month from 11:00 to 12:30, drop in any time you like within this time slot. This is FREE to attend. You can find details about this recurring event HERE.

So if you're ready to declutter your hoard of arts and crafts supplies or maybe you've got too many home deco items for Easter or Christmas or you've got some artwork in your home you no longer want, do come along to donate it. And who knows what amazing stuff you find for yourself to take home!
